I have worked with over 180 companies in business and industry, delivering a range of transformational projects, frequently with multiple engagements over many years.
Bringing in external assistance can accelerate the pace of change and growth in your organisation through the introduction of new ideas and some accountability for making progress, provided the help is delivered in a supportive and compassionate fashion.
Maintaining “psychological safety” is a key part of my approach. In fact, I have a reputation for “bringing a calm to things” – creating the circumstances in which people can think and communicate more effectively.

What’s different about the support you provide?
It’s informed by a highly-developed expertise in human development and interaction combined with the knowledge and experience of an operational career. That combination makes a radical difference in the appropriate circumstances. It’s simply more powerful than the alternatives.
Won’t you just tell us what we already know?
I have a comprehensive set of expertise in leadership and organisation development. It’s very unlikely you have all of that at your disposal already, especially because some of that expertise is original contributions to the field. Getting your organisation to talk to itself well is part of the approach though.
How do you charge for an engagement?
In whatever way works best for you. We can use an agreed day rate applied to hours recorded or use a retainer arrangement in which an agreed minimum amount of support is provided for a fixed monthly fee. If the scope of work is clear enough, we can also agree a fixed fee in advance. Generally, we invoice monthly for work done in the month.
